How do I use Action Replay Codes on Desmume
game description: Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow
Utilizing codes in the Desmume Emulator is a piece of cake, but the more difficult issue is to find codes that work! CodeBreaker codes are not compatible with the emulator and use the same format as Action Replay codes, which often confuses.
For a start with entering codes, from the toolbar of Desmume, select “Emulation” like in the screenshot above. Then, choose “Cheats” along with “List”. After that, you will see the same window in the screenshot below.
On this screen, you’ll need to select Action Replay. Except for an option that you know is internal. However, most of the time, this is Action Replay. In this tutorial, the game I’m testing cheats on can be described as Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (USA). If you visit my Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (USA) Action Replay Codes page, you’ll find an action replay coupon code called Max Gold, which is the one that I will use to show you how to set up codes.

If you click the Action Replay button, the box you can see in the screenshot below will be displayed. It is essential to enter the code in this box, just as you can see in my screenshots and (optional) label the code to remember the code for each of them.
If you’re confused, look at my screenshot to the left to get some direction.
Once you’re done, you’ve completed this.
Click “Update” You’ll find your code appearing on your Cheats List, as shown in my screenshot above. At this point. All you have just hit “save” to return to the game.
Check to see whether your code is working in any way. If not, you’ve followed the steps precisely. There’s probably something not working correctly, or it’s for another region than the game you play. It’s impossible to apply a code intended to be used for Castlevania: The European Version. (Europe) version. Castlevania that is its (USA) Version.

Furthermore, a third factor can cause issues, such as different versions of games or hacking games. The Pokemon games include several “Fan hacks” that can alter games’ memory addresses. Most codes don’t work with these games.
As you see in the picture, have an amount of 999,999G. The code was successful.
