Chains of Honor Runeword in an Ebugged Sacred Armor.
Ebugging a piece of Armor within Diablo 2 is a thriving practice that increases the armor’s defense by 50% and adds Sockets. To Ebug an Armor piece, you’ll require a plain item made of Ethereal Armor (Not Superior or Low Quality) and the proper things needed to combine the two within the Horadric Cube.
The most popular applications to use Ebugged Armor or Helms are to use them as Mercenary equipment. If a Mercenary gets injured or dies, their gear won’t suffer any loss in durability. Because of this, the Mercenary can wear an item of Ethereal equipment for a long time without having to worry over it falling apart.
To Ebug a piece of armor, you’ll have to follow the same recipes employed to add sockets onto an item. The recipes you can use to Ebug the armor are below and taken from my collection. If you’re still lacking a few ingredients or items then try considering yesgamers.com.
1 Tal Rune + 1 Thul Rune + 1 Perfect Topaz + Normal Body Armor = Socketed Body Armor
In this recipe, the product you’re using should be standard. No sockets, not low-quality or Superior. It must be a standard, old piece. The number of sockets an item can roll is random and is based on the level of equipment utilized.
1 Ral Rune + 1 Thul Rune + 1 Perfect Sapphire + Normal Helm = Socketed Helm
The item that you’re using has to be expected. There are no sockets, and they must not be inferior or low-quality. It should be an everyday, basic old item. The number of sockets an entity can use is random and is based on the level of equipment utilized.
1 Tal Rune + 1 Amn Rune + 1 Perfect Ruby + Normal Shield = Socketed Shield
The item that you’re using should be standard. It must have no sockets and be not inferior or low-quality. It should be a standard, essential old item. The number of sockets an item can be used for is random and is based on the level of equipment utilized.

It is worth noting that you can also add sockets in an Ethereal weapon. However they are not eligible for the same bonus as armor does. The Bug is said to exist on armor because at one time, the Horadric Cube removed the Ethereal bonus after you had completed this recipe, and Blizzard made it work by having the cube reapply bonus. This means that now, as it’s no longer removing this bonus, it applies the bonus of 50% armor every time you combine it; amazing you think?
Chest Armor is the most widely Ebugged armor, followed by Helms and Helms. Not many players Ebug shields as there are no Runewords for shields that render the protection indestructible and only one kind of Mercenary utilizes guards. There is a single runeword which repairs Durability over time and is beneficial for Ebugged armors for players, The word Prudence. It comes with two sockets and is a decent mid-level armor Runeword.
Below, I’ll show an example of me Ebugging armor to observe it in action.
