A Los Angeles-based couple, known as the Rentmeester twins (Marlien is the adored Fashion blogger of Le Catch and Coliena is a well-known fashion photographer) They are working on a renovation of their homes. They have decided to use the price guide when listing their sale of 45 items on Chairish that will begin at 6am PST/9am ET on May 25. The auctioned collection features beautiful Chinoiserie pieces as well as elegant Hollywood Regency seating and intriquing Indonesian antiques. There’s a wide range of styles in design that originates in the twins’ Dutch and Indonesian heritage and their upbringing. “Mar and I are first generation American,” Coliena explains,”And as we grew in our house, we represented our parents’ various backgrounds and love of antiques and travel.”

Although the two twins’ love to use the pricing guide, it’s hard to say goodbye sometimes. “The item hardest to part with,” Coliena says. Coliena, “Is the Serge Mouille-inspired light. It’s classic. I’m sure I’ll be looking for a new one soon.” Marlien adds: “I think I’ll regret not having the turquoise urns since they’re stunning; effortless to integrate into any space and always stylish.”
The Rentmeesters may be parting ways with a few treasured items, but they’ll soon be a different person’s treasures.
