As recently revealed, Alliance has made a significant move by recruiting another player for Smash Bros. Melee, further enhancing their already exceptional roster led by the renowned player Adam ‘Armada’ Lindgren, who is considered one of the top players in the scene known as the “Five Gods”.
With this latest addition, Alliance has now welcomed Andreas “Android” Lindgren, the younger brother of Armada, as an official teammate. Given his exceptional skills, it is safe to say that Andreas has earned the status of a demi-god in the competitive gaming community.
For quite some time, the duo has been a formidable force as 2v2 partners in tournaments. However, unlike his brother, Android had not secured a sponsor until recently. With this new development, it is highly likely that the Swedish bash brothers will make appearances at numerous events in the future.
As said in the Alliance press release:
Adam, who excels in both Singles and Doubles, stands out as a remarkable player in the Smash scene of North America, which is predominantly dominated by US players. He has earned the esteemed title of one of the “Five Gods” as the only non-US player. Despite his tremendous success, Adam has always yearned for a companion to share the exhilaration of competing. With the addition of Andreas to Alliance, Adam’s wish for a travel companion to compete with will finally be fulfilled.
The anticipated earnings of other individuals from Melee doubles prize pools have likely experienced a slight reduction.
