The dinosaur Zuul belonged to the period of time called the cretaceous period which is technically called ankylosaurus. This was when animals truly roamed the earth in large an we are certain that this took place. Zuul dinosaurs has a bony exterior to them, especially at the end of their tail and they used their legs to kill things too.
The Zuul dinosaur is now today one of the best preserved dinosaurs during the ankylosaur period. It has soft tissue that has been found and paleontologist, Victoria Arber has seen it and spoke about it. She resides and works at the Royal Ontario Museum. She also has seen fossils that has skin impressions as well as areas that have been seen to include in the spikes inside the tail.
The tail was a huge weapon for the Zuul dinosaur. In fact, many other animals were intimidated by this huge of a weapon. It was big, horned, and had eyes that sort of looked like a monster however like a dog at the same time. They were glowing the color red.
The dinosaur got its name from the similarities it has from the head fo the Ghostbuster monster. This was stated by the paleontologist in the same museum, David Evans. This is because the skull of the dinosaur is short, it also has a much more rounded snout, and the horns on it are behind the eyes, just like the movie.
The movie was also done by someone that was born in Ontario and holds the skull. That is one of the reasons why the Royal Ontario Museum has been allowed to not only name it but have it as well at their museum.
The dinosaur tail is about three full metres in length and that is the main thing to note about it. It used its tail as a way to defend itself. It sort of was like an additional arm or leg it used it so much. Most other creatures don’t utilize their tail as much as the Zuul dinosaur did.
