It is evident that the game title is being taken seriously. Alliance has recently revealed their acquisition of a second Smash Bros. Melee player to enhance their already exceptional player, Adam ‘Armada’ Lindgren, who is recognized as one of the esteemed “Five Gods” in the gaming community.
With this new addition, Andreas “Android” Lindgren, who is not only Adam’s younger brother but also his official teammate, can now be considered a demi-god in his own right.
Although the two siblings have been dominating the 2v2 tournaments for quite some time, Android had not been fortunate enough to secure a sponsor until recently, unlike his brother. As a result, the Swedish duo can now be anticipated to participate in a multitude of events together.
As mentioned in the official statement released by the Alliance:
Adam, a remarkable player in the North American dominated Smash scene, stands out for his dominance in both Singles and Doubles. Unlike his US counterparts, he is the sole non-US player to achieve the esteemed status of being one of the “Five Gods”. Despite his tremendous success, Adam has always yearned for a companion to share the exhilaration of competition with. Fortunately, with Andreas now joining Alliance, Adam’s wish for a travel companion to compete alongside has finally come true.
The anticipated earnings of other individuals from Melee doubles prize pools have likely experienced a slight reduction.
