Casino gaming enterprises have undergone transformations over the decades of their existence. They have gone from solely being a gambling enterprise to being an entertainment hub in themselves. The rate at which the new online casino CA industry seems to be growing has only served to push them towards even more entertainment/luxury tangents. Today, trips to Vegas or any other city with casinos are as much for the resort and hotel experience as for gaming. In that light, it makes a lot of sense to judge the modern casino not just by its gaming reputation but also by its accommodations and other facilities. Here are some of the hotels that every gambler should visit anytime they are able to.
The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel, China
This is a good place to start considering how luxurious the Asian elite are. For starters, the Chinese Venetian is the largest casino in the world. That’s not where the accolades and records stop, though; it is also the seventh-largest building in the world (by floor area) and the largest single structure hotel in Asia. All of these should give an idea of just what might be contained within. For those without a fertile imagination, we are talking about 800 tables and 6,000 slots. We almost want to own it.
Big dreams aside, we would settle for living in it. This casino resort is just out of this world. High-rollers receive top-quality treatment throughout their stay. If you roll high enough, book the presidential suite. We hear it has four bedrooms and twelve rooms in total. That’s more than most apartments we have stayed in. The Wynn, Las Vegas
You know what they say: if you have to sell your casino, be sure to build a bigger one. Nobody we know said that, but it seems Steve Wynn knew someone who did. The Wynn, Las Vegas outstrips the Bellagio for size and houses 1900 slot games. It also includes a 27-table poker room. Why wouldn’t it? The Casino space alone measures 110,000 Square feet.
However, a luxury resort is more than just space; its high-end facilities as well. How do 18 quality restaurants sound? If that doesn’t do it for you, there are also shopping choices at Cartier, Dior, Oscar de la Renta, and others. Better still, if you want to move around and need a ride, there’s a Ferrari dealership for you to patronise. Steve Wynn might not be running things anymore, but this casino is still living up to its size.
The Bellagio, Las Vegas
At the time of its opening, it was the most expensive casino-hotel ever. It might not hold that title anymore, but it is still a premium luxury location for gamblers all around the world. We can begin from the very front; the dancing fountains are iconic in the casino world, but even they pale in comparison to what’s on offer indoors. Steve Wynn might have outdone his first efforts, but even this is a masterpiece. The Bellagio currently houses 36 stories and 3,015 rooms. There are also high-end services and amenities for patrons to enjoy.
The Cove Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas
We wonder if the upper design of this casino resort had something to do with the name; it definitely evokes images of what the mythical Atlantis is meant to look like. However, we are sure that it looks to capitalise on the Atlantis myth with its 63-acre waterscape. The Cove does so successfully as its 11 lagoons and 50,000 living sea creatures are a tourist attraction on their own. You could check out the species housed there, but you would have to drag your attention from the “Sea Glass” first. That’s the name of their exclusive gaming area. We hear that you should only approach if you have deep pockets that wouldn’t be upset by a few expensive lost hands.
Despite the comfort of its accommodation and the resort offerings on the ground, there is still enough space to house 20 restaurants. Check out any of them or gamble some more. The choice is yours, but if you decide on the latter, there’s a sportsbook as well. You could bet on horse races and other sporting events in the sportsbook. The Resorts World, Sentosa, Singapore
The Cove isn’t the only casino resort offering aquatic life as a tourist attraction; they have even more impressive competition in Singapore. The resort’s world is appropriately named because this is massive by all metrics. Within their “world” is contained a marine life park, Universal Studios theme park, an Adventure Cove water park, six hotels, and the casino proper. You read that right.
As if to prove just how big the place is, the casino proper contains 500 table games and 2,400 slot machines. On top of all that luxury, there’s still enough space to house a casino that almost any standalone casino would kill for. Back on topic, though, six hotels don’t even tell the whole story. Apparently, the hotels are themed, and some of the more exotic themes include a tree-top loft standing (or sitting?) 40-feet above the ground (and shrouded in a canopy of leaves) and a beach villa complete with a personal butler. I think we have a new holiday destination.
Honourable Mentions
The above casinos are not listed in any particular order because it would detract from their amazingness to even attempt a ranking. That said, we tried to cram their main attractions here. But, even at that, we couldn’t find enough space to wax lyrical about some other worthy casino resorts. However, they are too good to be left off our piece altogether. Here they are in case you’re up for some research of your own:
- MGM Grand, Las Vegas
- Foxwoods Resort Casino, Connecticut
- Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Atlantic City
- Park Hyatt Mendoza, Argentina
- Jupiter’s Hotel and Casino Gold Coast, Broadbeach, Australia
- Sun City Casino Resort, South Africa
- Marina Bay Sands, Singapore
- Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas
- The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino, Las Vegas
- Aria Resort and Casino, Las Vegas
- Hotel de Paris, Monte Carlo, Monaco
- Ibiza Gran Hotel, Spain
Conclusion
We’ve taken quite the journey around the world on this page. While we may only be able to afford some of these places once a decade, they are worth dreaming about (only as holiday destinations) regularly. You have, however, seen what the top-end of land-based casinos look like. There are other luxuries beyond the convenience of online gambling, and we hope you one day get to experience the very best of them. Until then, we wish you pressure-free gambling.
