From my experience with Dark Cloud 2 Scoops are generally the ones that are the most difficult to get and are usually of objects or items that have significance within the game. The bosses you face in the game be considered Scoops also, meaning there’s only one opportunity to get the photo. This makes Scoops one of the most challenging and frustrating photos to take!
There are 54 scoops I’m aware of in Dark Cloud 2. Because many scoops are required to be consumed at certain times, I’m going to categorize them by chapter they’re the first ones available to purchase. In addition, to my list of each of these scoops, I’m going to provide you with some information about how to get the scoop. Sure of my more challenging scoops have pictures showing the ideal moment to photograph.
I have a final suggestion for you to consider regarding photographing at the right time during Dark Cloud 2. The suggestion can be described as… Keep states! If you’re playing using an Emulator, this will give you an enormous advantage. You can save a state every time you’re near the monster and then play around with it for a while to discover its attack patterns and then take a picture. It’s even better to make use of a save state when you’re able to open or take your camera before the time when the monster is about to attack. If you blow it and miss the picture, you don’t need to force his animation over again!
Before we begin my list of tips, It’s crucial to refer to my guide which covers every one of the missing photos that you can miss in Dark Cloud 2. It is recommended to refer to this guide while playing to ensure you won’t lose any crucial photographs.
So, here’s a rundown of the sources I’ve heard!
Chapter 1 Scoops
The Baron’s Hanging On (Underground Channel)
The creature you’re looking for in this Photograph is the Vanguard. They’ve got a move they perform which causes them to leap high into the air and reverse. It is necessary to take photos of them as they perform this maneuver. You’ll need to engage the monster for a while to initiate this attack. Close to him, then reverse and make him attack you as usual – after which you can go back and get close to triggering his subsequent attack (which is typically the one we’d like to see to take a photo of).
This is among the most difficult earlier photos to find because the Vanguard is very difficult with no defense.
Brave Little Linda (Underground Channel)
To take this photo, you’ll need to snap a picture of Linda when she is preparing to attack. It is essential to be close to her before you can get away, playing with her to convince her to confront you. If she doesn’t, she will chase you. It’s a non-missable image.
“Clown Robo’s Attack” (Underground Channel)
To take this picture, you’ll need to take a photo of the clown robot that Flotsam confronts you with. It is also a threat because it shoots rockets from its eyes. It’s a snagged photograph.
Night Stalker (Underground Channel)
They can be found on the Ghost in the Channel floor, and you’ll need to take pictures of them as they spin in their Swooping attack. There are only two options, one of which is a fireball that which they aim at you if you’re in a distance, and then they’ll make their spinning attack when they get close. It’s necessary to play the mob by getting close but then backing away and using your camera to capture the image.
Chapter 2 Scoops
Hmm! Jurak (Future Sindain)
In the future, Sindarin, when the time you decide to revive Jurak, you’ll need to take an image of Sindarin after you revive Jurak.
Look for the golden Egg! (Future Sindarin)
In the next Sindain, after you’ve completed all the Georama conditions, walk up the ramps that surround Jurak as well. At the top of the ramps, you’ll find an egg-shaped nest filled with Golden Eggs. Examine them to find Golden Paint (needed to attract Parn for the next chapter) and snap a shot of them to share with us this story!
Rules of the Pond (Palm Brinks in the night)
This is the first of the series of scoops that calls for you to capture the ghost! For this ghost, all you’ll need to do is walk over towards the water at Palm Brinks, where Dell Clinic is situated. You can stand on the pier next to the boat without a crew, which is what you used to recruit Fabio during the earlier game. Make sure to point your camera towards Dell Clinic and stay there until the time between Midnight and 4 am. While waiting, snap photos of the lake. Also, look for a white fog that only appears in the photo. Set the camera in the area and take a photo until you receive credit.
Spooky Grasses smile (Rainbow Butterfly Woods)
To take this Photograph, you’ll need an eating grassy man in the Rainbow Butterfly Woods. When the creature appears to be chewing something, take a picture of it to get this scoop. It typically starts chewing right before it launches an attack. I let it just at me, and after each attack, I pulled out my camera to wait for it begin chewing.
There is a Man-Eating Grasses at the very 1st floor. Frightening Forest, of Rainbow Butterfly Woods.
“Tore’s Nap” (Rainbow Butterfly Woods)
To take this Photograph you’ll have to locate the Tore within the Rainbow Butterfly Woods and snap the image before it begins to move towards you or before it sees that you. You’ll be able to walk close enough to to capture a photograph without disturbing him or triggering the monster to strike you. If you don’t know the definition of you call a Tore is It’s one of the huge tree monsters that lurk in the underground dungeon.
Tores is located on the second floor. Tores in the 2nd level of the dungeon “Strange Tree” and further.

The floating Earth Digger (Rainbow Butterfly Woods)
The photo will require you to locate the Moler mob within the Rainbow Butterfly Woods and to capture a photo of him bouncing into the air. This could be a major trouble for you considering it usually only jumps as you approach it. Sometimes, it may jump while it’s running toward you but this isn’t very common. It’s likely that you’ll be struck a lot when trying to capture this shot, so make sure to carry plenty of things to help you heal.
There are Molers in the second floor of the dungeon “Strange Tree” and on the upper floors.
Dangerous Pumpkin (Rainbow Butterfly Woods)
This photo will require you to locate the Pumpkinhead creature within the Rainbow Butterfly Woods and take an image of him while spinning his spear around. This is usually done prior to attacking, or even after attacking. It shouldn’t be a problem to see this image.
There are Pumpkinheads beginning on the second level of the dungeon “Strange Tree” and beyond.
Master Utan (Rainbow Butterfly Woods)
Photograph Master Utan as he sits in the shade of the Poison Apple tree or in front of the boulders. To be able to credit Master Utan, you must to be able to see right into Master Utan’s eyes. Check out my photo below to see how to stand when you’re struggling.
King Mardan (Rainbow Butterfly Woods)
After you have spoken about it with Master Utan and learn about King Mardan you’ll need to catch the King up using a poisonous Apple. When you’ve done this, snap the image of him! This is a non-missable image.
The Gyumo’s Call (Rainbow Butterfly Woods)
To get this photo, you’ll need to go towards the Rainbow Butterfly Woods and find the Gyumo. They’re boar-like creatures. You’ll need to wait until he swivels the head away and shouts to capture the image. If he’s not howling, you, you can try to whack him then stepping back or avoiding his attacks to make him angry.
The Gyumo’s start is at the “Legendary Killer Snake” Dungeon floor.
Lafrescia Stem (Rainbow Butterfly Woods)
To capture this photo, you’ll need to take a picture of the huge flower that you can find inside the Rainbow Butterfly Woods. The best place for you to stand to take this photo is directly from where you’ll be entering this area. I simply pressed Square and snapped a picture without moving once I entered this Rainbow Falls area. If you’re still having trouble in determining where to stand take a look at my photo below for some tips!
R. Butterfly United (Rainbow Butterfly Woods)
In order to capture this photo, you must eliminate butterflies in an unnatural sequence and then snap pictures of them while they come back together with the flower. I took a number of photos very quickly because the moment you’re waiting for occurs only a fraction of a second after the butterfly has fully formed once more and before it is able to fly away. This is an unmissable photograph.
Chapter 3 Scoops
Moon Crystal (Future)
When you’ve reached completed your 100% Balance Valley you’ll be tempted to travel into the future to take pictures from the Moon Crystal floating in the middle of town.
Charger Ram (Starlight Canyon)
Then, in Starlight Canyon find a Ram adversary and take a photograph of him as he charges at you. One of the best tips for all of the enemies that are in the dungeon is that you can find them stuck at the edge of the bridge that runs across the canyons. If you do not back up onto the bridge correctly when the enemies are coming towards you, they’ll be stuck, leaving you free to take photos of them, and not be in a position to get you.
There’s Rams on the first level at Starlight Canyon, Headlong Dash.
Face Behind the Devil Mask (Starlight Canyon)
Then, in Starlight Canyon you’ll want to locate the Masked Tribesman adversary and take an image of his face after he removes his mask to attempt to bite you. You could also shock him with a rock and then take a photo also and it’s much more straightforward. A suggestion for a lot of the enemies that are in this dungeon is that you can be stuck at the edge of the bridge, which runs across the canyons. If you do not back up onto the bridge in the right way when the enemies are coming towards you, they’ll be stuck, leaving you with the option of taking photos of them, and not be capable of reaching the area.
The Masked Tribesman is located at the top on the first floor of Starlight Canyon, Headlong Dash. The characters will stop appearing on later floors.
Changing Dog Statue (Starlight Canyon)
Within Starlight Canyon find a Dog Statue opponent and snap its image when it changes from a solid block into an animal. It is possible to make him change by hitting the statue with a long range weapon. After take off your camera and begin taking pictures! If you’re quick enough, you will be able to capture a photo of him in a short time.
There are Changing Dog Statues at the floor of the Demon’s dungeon that is shaped like Earth.
A big cheer to Rock Man! (Starlight Canyon)
To do this, you’ll need to locate the Golem within Starlight Canyon and take a photograph of him as the Golem lifts both arms. There are only two options for him to attack that he can use, one of which is to strike you, while the other moves his arms upwards and hits the ground. You’ll need to get close to him in order for him to strike you, so I suggest my suggestion to avoid a lot of adversaries in this game are they can be stuck at the right side of the bridge, which runs across the canyons. If you are able to back yourself on the bridge in the right way when they approach, they’ll be stuck, leaving you with the option of taking an image of them but without being able for them to get close enough.
There is a large number of Golems on the Warrior in the Starlight Canyon dungeon floor.
Spinning Ivanoff (Starlight Canyon)
In order to take this picture, what you’ll have to do is go to Starlight Canyon and find an Ivanoff adversary. These are the balls that spin with an open mouth. You’ll need to take an image of him when he’s yelling at you. The fastest way to take this photo would be to hit him using your gun, then pull out your camera. The shooter takes a second to turn around and at that moment you can snap a picture while he is rolling to get credit.
There’s Ivanoffs on the Nature’s Threat the dungeon floor. It’s the final floors in Starlight Canyon.
Nice Massage (Starlight Canyon)
You’ll need to go towards Starlight Canyon and find a Priest of the Rama monster, and take an image of him as you give him an arm massage. This animation happens quickly after gaining an interest in you, or even while in an in-between distance. What I did was stood like a hunter in the forest until he grabbed me by the agro at which point he walked close enough to pat his back on top for doing such a great job of approaching me. And then, I snapped an image!
There is a Priest from Rama on the Nature’s Threat Dungeon floor. It’s one of the final floors located in Starlight Canyon.
Burning Dragon Fire (Starlight Canyon)
Then in Starlight Canyon find a Dragon enemy and take a shot of him while he’s blowing and firing at you. What I did was to get close enough to make him confront me and then, as he approached, I started slamming the camera. I was hit once or twice, but I was able to get the scoop without real problems.
You will find Dragons on the Nature’s Risk Dungeon floor. In the last floor in Starlight Canyon.
Phantom Memo Eater (Starlight Canyon)
If the Phantom Memo Eater is ripped out of Lin you’ll want to take an image of him during the battle. It doesn’t need to be doing a specific sequence of animation. The photo is snagged image.
Flying Battleship (Starlight Canyon)
When you’re protecting the Lighthouse and shielding Lin from fires, it’s important to stop for a second to capture this shot of the Flying Battleship. There are other opportunities in later chapters too so remember to pull out your camera whenever you’re at the top of your game to take a photo! It’s a sloppy image .
Chapter 4 Scoops
A Surviving Soldier (Veniccio)
Another one of the ghost-scoops that are available within the game. To find this one, you’ll need to do is go to Veniccio . Then, go to the cave that is located on the opposite side of Pau’s home and where Ocean’s Roar Cave can be found. The cave is closed off by an invisibly wall. It also has one rock that is to the left of the to the cave. In the shadow of this rock, between 12pm and 4am, you’ll be able capture a photograph of a Survive Soldier to capture this scoop. You can see where I’m trying to go in the photo below, if you require more information.
Veniccio Evening Sun (Veniccio)
Snap a photo during the time you are in the middle of the night when Sun has set in the town. The ideal location for this picture is the place you put your Georama pieces. I sat on the beach and gazed at the sun’s direction as it sets , and then stood there for a while. Continue to take pictures of the sun each about 20 minutes or while it sets. Eventually instead of receiving credit on “The The Sun” you’ll receive credit on Veniccio Evening Sun!
Symbol that represents Luna Lab (Future)
Once you have restored to the Luna Lab in future Veniccio you’ll need to take an image of the symbol that is on top of the laboratory. Once you’ve reached the Luna Lab just run up the main road until you arrive at the main building. There’s a large yellow sign above it. Snap the image to get credit.
Puppet Shingala (Ocean’s Roar Cave)
Snap a photo of Shingala when he’s being controlled by the floor of the dungeon Cave of the Ancient Mural. It’s not necessary to wait for him make any kind of motion take a picture of him fighting! The photo is non-missable photograph.

Doctor Jaming (Ocean’s Roar Cave)
On the floor of Shigura Village when you come face to face with Doctor Jaming capture a photograph of him sitting on his hover platform. It is necessary to be close to him, just under his feet so that the image can be counted. If you are waiting close to Shingalas sitting with their heads down , it will make it much easier, since you aren’t being struck by a defender. The photo is non-missable image.

The ghost can be seen on the rock from midnight to 4am. If you’re having difficulty finding him, take a look at my image below for some direction.
Paznos (Future)
When you’ve restored fully Heim Rada you’ll want to photograph Paznos the huge floating fortress that lies in the middle of the future Heim Rada.
Bomber Head Boom (Mount Gundor)
To get this scoop, you’ll have to do is to beat the Bomber Head until it gets extremely low in health. If he’s not healthy, his head will grow and he’ll rise in the air while the chasing begins. Begin to chase him and then move away, before pulling out your camera. Snap a photo of the man right after he explodes, but before the body disappears.
