Getting Started
Location: Secluded Grove
Herbs: Medicinal
When the opening film ends, you’ll become the main character (whom you chose when you started with a brand new game). The nearby barrels are tossed around to find the possibility of a medicinal Herb. Throwing out pots and barrels is a typical method to find things in this game, so you’ll need to become accustomed to it now. Talk with King Trode (the green squat creature) should you wish to, but he doesn’t have many things to say, and that’s likely to change whether you like it. Speak with Yangus (the squat thieves) to proceed. Soon you’ll be in an easy fight with a couple of Slimes.
It’s impossible to lose this battle. It’s an opportunity to show you to play the game effectively. The commands are generally self-explanatory (attack defense, Attack, escape spells, items, and abilities all perform as you’d think). It is possible to speed up battles by using the battle menu’s main screen, modifying the AI strategies your group players employ, and trying to intimidate your opponents into fleeing. For each character, the only secret command could be Psyche up, which boosts your Tension and allows you to deal more damage. At present, you can increase your Tension to 50 simultaneously, which will nearly quadruple your damage output (at the expense of not doing anything for those three rounds). Tension is a simple game. In a nutshell, it can be highly effective against opponents with an extremely high defense.
When you’ve won the battle, the game will go off for a while, after which you’ll arrive in Fairbury. Chat with Yangus before you can begin.

Be aware that you can receive insight from other group members at any point when you press the Y. It’s mostly just amusing extra dialogue but isn’t essential.
Don’t be overwhelmed by the long list of objects around the town. The majority are in pots, barrels, dressers and hanging baskets. Your main goal is to figure out what happened to Rylus, the mage who lives in the town. You can also find items as you search for Stylus. If you’re looking to the end of the story, read in the following paragraph. There is 4G inside a barrel near the inn. Inside the inn, go through the various dressers, bags, and chests located on the 2nd floor. You will discover those items: Holy Water, Plain Clothes Chimaera Wing, Cypress Stick, Antidotal Herb, and the Medicinal Herb.
The inn is accessible via the back entrance, and you’ll discover 3G inside a bag behind the counter. There’s also the very first Golden Slime back here, but it’s not going to be famous for quite a while Snap a picture of it using START if you want to have a head start on that. There’s a house just from the stall at the armour shop that has 5G as well as the Antidotal herb inside. From the outside of the stairs leading to the house, you’ll see the pot that holds a medicinal Herb in the back of the pub. There is an unmarked well in the back alleys in front of the bar. Inside this well is an unlocked chest that contains the Leather Shield. The house near the well contains eight grams and plain Clothes inside (the one near it is locked). The house adjacent to the shop for weapons has twenty grams inside one cabinet. The next stop is just behind the church! In the back, you can discover the Seed of Defence. You can discover the medicinal Herb and the Pot Lid within the church. On the wall that faces the bridge that connects the main southern house, you can discover barrels that contain two grams and a medicinal herb. Then last but not least, go through the back entrance to the pub to purchase $10G in the barrel. Once that’s done, it’s time to begin the story.
Enter the bar (there’s an Antidotal Herb in a barrel just near the door) and walk up to the guy wearing a long black wig in the bar. Talk to him following the short story’s scene. Then, return to the square in Farebury where Trode is waiting for you. After a few story-related scenes, Your next stop is the house in the northwestern part of town, right next to the well. Search the cabinets to find 4G and the pot to make a medicinal herb. There is 7G inside a barrel as well. Speak to Valentina to keep the plot going. Take off and leave town. The plot will continue. You can leave town again, and your adventure will begin adequately! (Note that Thief’s Key Ingredient is found in the evening’s towering bells of the church. It won’t be revealed until you’ve gotten this far into the story.)
Region: Farebury Region
Items like Seed of Life Boxer Shorts and 82G.
Blue Chests 5
Monsters Slime, Candy Cat, Capsicum, Bunicorn, Satyr, Firespirit, Lips, Dracky, Bubble Slime, Dancing Devil, Beetle Boy
Once you’re located on the globe, it is yours to battle or explores and gather treasures in the way you want. The monsters in this version of the game can be seen at all times on the map of the world, which means you can avoid or fight according to your preferences. It is possible to stop the enemy currently chasing you from fighting you by reviewing Battle Records; this resets the battles nearby. Avoid enemies who have crossed swords across its head with a swathe of caution for the time being; they’re hard to defeat and will be a factor shortly. I’ll give a suggested level for areas that go beyond this point to provide you with an idea of what level can give you a chance to fight the types of enemies you’ll face at this stage. From level 4, you’ll be able to earn Skills Levels (SP) to purchase the skill tree. There are many options to take in this, but I’ll help you find the best way to deal with harm and build up more experience. For starters, you should get heroes’ Courage at eight and concentrate on Spears. Yangus should be able to get Humanity as high as 16, after which you should focus on Axes. After that is done, Let’s begin searching for treasures!
The latest additions in this 3DS edition of DQ8 are blue chests that are respawned each day at midnight after an arbitrary point in the story. According to the 3DS internal clock, remember, not the game’s clock. These chests are scattered worldwide and offer random items based on the chest’s “quality.” The five chests found near Farebury are low quality. However, they could give you a massive advantage over the initial difficulties if you get these chests. They can be found a bit to the southwest, a bit further south than a town. And a little farther south than the town in a corner from town’s east, as well as further southwest of town in the vicinity of the Waterfall Cave. There are more traditional treasure chests, including the Seed of Life (north of town), Boxer Shorts (far west of town), and the 82G (far west and a little further south of town). It is important to note that if you plan to create valuable equipment, later on, you must keep at least two or three of the seeds you discover before using them. If you don’t, you can feed the seeds to your group to boost their numbers. If you’re in good spirits and prepared, go toward your destination, the Waterfall Cave. It is located just a few miles south-by-southwest of town. There’s a hut on top of the waterfall, which is a must to visit before but not necessarily.
Location: Waterfall Hut
Items Include: The Seed of Agility, Holy Water, Tool Bag Plain Cheese 8
Take The seeds of agility and Holy Water from the walls’ bags and then speak to the guy in the cabin. This is the first side quest you’ll encounter, which is pretty simple. Take a walk along the easternmost part of the region to the only crimson-colored tree, and then pick up your tool Bag that’s lying there. Return it to the guy at the hut, and you’ll be able to find eight plain Cheese. After you have finished this for him, he will go over an exciting mechanic: let the hero feed his mouse Munchie cheese, allowing him to breathe various attack and defensive capabilities during combat. After that, take a walk down the mountain to enter The Waterfall Cave. It is possible to purchase higher quality equipment before going into the cave. A Boomerang for your hero is highly advised.
The location: Waterfall Cave (Recommended Level 5)
Items 100G Chimaera Wing, Medicinal Herb, Leather Hat, Copper Sword, Crystal Ball
Monsters: Slime, Dancing Devil, Dracky, Mischievous Mole, Mecha-Mynah, Bubble Slime, Firespirit, Skipper
It’s the very first level in this game and is quite simple. Take the straight route until the split, and then open the chest to gain the 100g. From there, turn the right fork first, and then get to a watery zone (the left fork doesn’t have anything down it). There’s a chest there that contains a Chimaera Wing. A little further to the north are the chests with the medicinal Herb and a Leather Hat inside the latter. The junction of these two pathways is right in the area, and a vendor nearby will alert you to an unidentified monster blocking the way in the forward direction. Go down the stairs to the next floor, and at the edge of the next chamber, you’ll see the presumed threat. Begin to talk to this beast (a Hammerhood) and tell it that you’re prepared to take on it to convince it to stay away from you. If you’re determined to take on it, say No or speak to it a second time after saying Yes. It’s not an extremely strong opponent, but it will get psyched up to do more damage, so be prepared to fight and take care to heal. In any case, go ahead and turn left when you reach the junction. Take the stairs up and pick up the Copper Sword, come back down to the crossroads below , and go down to the next level. Straight from the top until the final boss. Simply check the orb floating and affirm it twice. It is possible to add an Quick Save from the Misc. menu before doing this however, in the case.
BOSS: Geyzer
173 HP. exp Gold, 162 drops Seed of Strength
Attacks Include: Attacks: Mist (curse upon the entire), Sizz (7-12 damage to all) Attack (10-22 damage)
Geyzer is the first boss in this game Geyzer can be considered to not very difficult to defeat. He will introduce players to one of the main features of this game’s hero however the hero is free of curses! So, the hero will carry the majority of this battle by himself. Make sure to carry Medicinal Herbs on Yangus as well as Yangus However, the fight could take very long duration. However, it could also be extremely fast. The best strategy is to make the hero Psyche at least 50, and then strike to get Geyzer down with two solid strikes. It might take some time as he’ll need to administer Medicinal Herbs on Yangus as well as Yangus during the fight forward. It’s not going to be a difficult fight.
Once the battle has been completed the brief story is set, and you receive an item called the Crystal Ball. Return to the Kalderasha’s home in Farebury (you are taught Evac at the level 6 which can be useful in escaping Waterfall Cave quickly). Waterfall Cave quickly) and contact Kalderasha to get the story moving. Take a trip downstairs to the next story-related scene and then head out of town. Then, head to the new region!

One is one in blue, the other one containing slime Earrings. The chests are located in Alexandria close to the way that is impossible to miss, however, you should go to the east to start for 10G along the cliff’s edge. It’s also possible to walk towards the tower in the vicinity as you’re there to add it listed on your Zoom list too. If you’d like to, you could go south until Port Prospect, and pick additional goodies on the route. There’s a blue treasure chest on the southern beach and the seed of strength located at the opposite end of the beach, and a third blue chest on the north end of the path that leads to the port. There’s not much you can accomplish within Port Prospect just yet besides purchasing equipment and gathering things (listed in the future when you’re scheduled to visit) So, once you’re done, you can head to Alexandria.

There’s an epic battle when you arrive in the town. This is a sign of hospitality! It’s a good thing that infanticide isn’t likely to make your list of raps anytime in the near future, and you will not necessarily have to battle Bangerz and Mash The battle will end at the moment you input any command. It is possible to upgrade your gear at stores (a Scale Shield and some Scale Armour at least are highly recommended) and then go to the southernmost home to discover an medicinal herb as well as 11G. You can cross the stream and break the pots before you to get the Holy Water. In the house, those pots are back, and you’ll find an Chimaera Wing in the cabinet. The next stop can be found in the Albert mansion and is accessible only at night; you can remain at the inn or fight outside the town for a while to alter the time of day , if you have to. Make a left from a door, and then go up into the kitchen and you’ll discover 5G as well as some plain Cheese inside a couple of pots. Return to the foyer , and take a trip upstairs, and you’ll be greeted by Bangerz and Mash once more guarding a doorway. They’re not letting you in and you should go through the adjacent door. There’s a box of Wayfarer’s Clothes inside the cabinet, and a treasure chest of the Seed of Magic, 18G, and an moonwort bulb in pots and barrels upstairs. Speak to the maid to get a clue on the next step. This is to examine the mouse hole , and get control over Munchie! Take the stairs down and climb up the broom handle to the desk. You can then pick up Jessica’s letter there. It’s time to go back to that mouse’s hole (you are able to climb the bezel next to the staircase to go back up). Send the letter and talk to Bangerz as well as Mash and then talk to them two times. After a few more stories then it’s off towards The Tower of Alexandra!
Place: Tower of Alexandra (Recommended Level 7)
Items like 200G, the Seed of Agility Moonwort Bulb 11G, Herbal Medicinal the Seed of Strength Herbs for Medicinal, Antidotal Herb, Scale Shield

Find the entrance to the tower and converse with Bangerz to proceed. There’s only one way to go now (the entrance for the tower with the lower one is closed) go inside. It’s important to Build up Tension a little before slamming large groups of Frogfaces using the boomerang, because they are extremely risky if you allow them to show their backs to you. This is more likely to result in killed here than any else! There’s nothing to be found inside the initial chamber, so go into the courtyard. Just in the front to you, there’s a box that has 200G inside. There’s nothing else there, go to the top of the stairs and go through the door to the left. It is possible to unlock the door and use it as a way to get to the main entrance (which is a great idea in the future, believe me). You can descend the ladder to locate the Seed of Agility, Moonwort Bulb, 22G, 11G, as well as an medicinal Herb in a chest as well as several barrels. Continue climbing the ladder before climbing the next ladder to another entrance out. From there, go into to the building’s main entrance. Although it appears to be it’s a dead-end but it’s not! Look for the blue circles with angry faces on the walls to turn 180 degrees before continuing your climb to the top of the tower. On the next floor, choose the wall closest to your location to discover a The Seed of Strength along with seven g in two pots. There’s nothing on the upstairs side, so turn around to take the opposite way to the stairs on the other side. Smash the barrels to make the possibility of a medicinal Herb before you take the stairs up. You can use the wall spinning here as a short alternative to the staircase up. This is where you can take the linear path, then flip the wall in order to obtain the antidotal Herb as well as a scale Shield from the chest and a pot, respectively. Straight up to the top of the hill from here, and there are additional stories, look at the statue. I recommend that you take pictures of this statue when you’re there in the first place; it’ll help you avoid a trip to the top in the future. Get off the tower and go towards Alexandria.

New Items Jessica’s Outfit
The only thing you need to do is speak to Bangerz once more (he’s at the front of the hotel) and stay in the inn and then walk up to Jessica as well as her mom at the Albert mansion. Enter Jessica’s room from here. There’s Jessica’s Outfit in an upstairs cabinet in her bedroom, as well the elusive Alexandria’s Golden Slime for photographing. When everything is done and put away, it’s the time to go into Port Prospect.

When you arrive in the town, make sure to go to the fountain and take a look at an image of the gorgeous person there. You can answer as you wish and he’ll provide you with a instruction on using the camera in any way. Photograph the guy, and then call him once more. You now have access to Cameron’s Codex which is a side quest that involves taking pictures of various things you see throughout your journey, and then making a report to the guy regarding them in exchange for rewards. More information about this adventure in the pertinent part within this manual. It’s worth the effort and you’ll receive the three first rewards right immediately. Once you have that taken into consideration, go through the pots and barrels at the town’s entrance to locate an Chimaera Wing, Medicinal Herb and the Seed of Wisdom. Enter the inn to search through its dresser for Holy Water. There’s also an Golden Slime in here if you’d like to snap pictures of it today Many of Cameron’s tasks require snapping photos of all these little items. There’s nothing like slime in the well arguing with the next boss, so you must remove the barrels from close to the stalls of the shop to purchase seventeen grams. Enter the lighthouse immediately. Jessica is waiting to greet you at the very end. You can meet her. Make sure to save your quick before talking to her afterwards, however that will trigger the sequence of events that will lead to the next boss fight. I would suggest having the Iron Lance and Stone Axe fitted for the protagonist or Yangus respectively, as well as the most effective armor for both.
BOSS Khalamari (Recommended Level 10)
HP: 360, 311 experience, 345 gold
attacks: Flame Breath (30-40 injury to the entire team) Snipe (14-16 damage to everyone) Tentacle slap (20-24 damages to one)
Khalamari is a remarkably inexpensive boss. He is much tougher than Geyzer because of his strong attacks. Make sure you defend the first round, since he’s almost always opening by using his insanely powerful Flame Breath. It is important to have an effective weapon for both your allies, and plenty of Medicinal Herbs. Tension may help in the hero’s attacks, just a tiny bit. Two 50-Tension strikes should be enough to end Khalamari off. If Yangus is wearing a Helm Splitter, take a couple of them off immediately to make Yangus’ high-tension strikes more painful. In case of injury, you must immediately treat it when your HP drops below 35. Be prepared for the relentless Attack and you’ll eventually win. You could also choose the “strategic” method of protecting every 6 turns to attempt to counter your risk of being hit by Flame Breath attacks, but from my experience, this isn’t a good idea because he doesn’t always utilize Flame Breath every 6 turns (sometimes it’s used every 5turns, and or each 7). If you attempt to fight this battle below the level of 10 will result in an average of a wipe often, according to my experience, because the hero isn’t strong enough to stand up to Flame Breath after any type of Attack (and Khalamari will get a turn prior to the hero often, which means the hero will die). So the case, I’d estimate the chances of success at 75% at level 10 at the very least. I’ll say it again: Khalamari is severely cheap.
After the battle, the story begins and you’ll receive an Golden Bracer. Talk to Jessica once more to obtain another party member and then sail. Jessica is best when you invest in her ability to use Staves. The Sex Appeal makes a nice backup, and so does Whips. Fisticuffs can be a potent power to master their abilities, but it’s just not worth it to try at them early. Shortswords are also a beneficial skill to help you post-game however, since they’re still quite a ways away it’s safe to ignore these for the time being.

The initial 5 Particular Antidotes (Strong Antidote + Strong) will be sold for 90G, the 5 next ones will be sold for the same amount, and the next ones will be sold for 36G (no gain). Utilizing the capital, you could create some fantastic equipment to use at this point. An assortment of farmer’s scythes can cook into a valuable Iron Axe, a Scale Shield and Jessica’s Leather Whip can be combined to create an Snakeskin Whip, you can make Bronze Shields with a Leather Shield and a Bronze Knife, you can make Bronze Armour with Chain Mail and the Bronze Shield, and you can make Feathered Caps by mixing Chimaera Wings and Leather Hats. There’s nothing more to do in the meantime So, take the second route out from Maella Abbey to continue onward.

There’s quite a bit in the globe map available currently however, we’ll remain near to Maella Abbey for the time being. Technically, you can complete the whole section next to the guide before moving on to the story about Maella Abbey, in fact! There’s really no reason to do this, as you’ll gain a new party member once you’ve completed this Maella Abbey sequence. I’ll presume that you’ll stay with the current part of the sequence. There’s a blue chest east of the point where you begin out in the section, and to the south is a chest locked with an bunny Tail inside. It can be combined with Jessica’s Hairband to create an even more attractive Bunny Ears headgear for her. Another blue chest is located a bit to the east of this close to an elevated area on the northern banks of the river and further east of the river’s bank is a treasure chest with chain Mail inside. If we go any further east, we’ll be in an area known as the Ascantha region (which you can absolutely explore right now if would like; there’s no reason to stop you from going there today) So let’s make it westwards towards the small town of Simpleton located just south of Maella Abbey.

Take a trip upstairs to pick up mini Medal #5 and 6G from a few barrels. Check the shops If you’re interested (the two men sitting in the dining room) Then, talk to the red-headed man down the stairs to finish your tale. Go back towards Maella Abbey.
Location: Maella Abbey
New Items: Mini Medal #6, 26G
Once you’ve got the ring of the Templar, you are able to access the Templar’s halls. There’s Mini Medal #6 in the kitchen to the left and a golden Slime hidden in a corner with a statue up there along with 26G inside a barrel towards the north. Go downstairs and then through the door that is located at the end of the hallway. Once you are in the room that lies beyond, the story begins. Speak to the guards on the bridge in the north outdoor area, then go back to the abbey. When you move ahead, you’ll start the next story sequence. Your next destination is Ruined Abbey. According to what Angelo stated, you have to go to the exit of Maella Abbey that leads towards Simpleton However, you should instead, you should follow the river east until you arrive at your destination.
The Ruined Abbey is located in the area.

Take a look at the plaque and put the Templar’s ring on the plaque. Proceed to walk down the steps. The first chest that is located in the alcove on the east is an Cannibox which is locked, and the one to the right is locked and holds 300G. The right-hand alcove contains an important iron Nail which can be coupled with the Boomerang to create a useful reinforced Boomerang. Take the ladder down and walk towards near the bottom of the hallway, where you will find the Mini Medal number 7 in the pot. Inside a locked chest in the room to the left of this hallway is the Bronze Shield. Through the door, go down the hall, then down the stairs to the poisonous pit. The debris can be used to get through the pit unharmed. Proceed onward and inspect the two rooms to see if you have 50G, Waterweed Mould along with mini Medal 8. Inside the chamber, you will find the zombie priest make a turn and inspect the cabinet next to it for the Bandit’s grass Skirt. Then, talk to (or attempt to pass) this zombie priest in order to begin the next boss battle.

Concentrate in psyching up as best you can, healing using Strong Medicines when needed and unleashing death’s incarnation on the boss. Should he call in minions do not bother with them. He’ll summon more when you eliminate them. When the Tortured Soul is gone the minions don’t any threat to you.
After fighting after the fight, you’re able to heal completely. Take the remaining short route until you reach a ladder into Maella Abbey.

New Items: Mini Medal #9
The first step is to break up the nearby barrels to earn the Mini Medal 9.. Then , you can walk straight through the Abbot’s detention area upstairs (you can find recipes for alchemy from his bookshelves on the lower level in case you’d like). You can then talk with the Abbot. After a short story you’ll enter the Dungeon. Speak to your fellow prisoners before walking into the middle inside the prison to proceed. When you are able to control yourself you can examine for the presence of an iron maiden. Return to the abbey, and then to The Abbot’s Quarters. Speak to Angelo or try to make it upstairs in order to get the story moving. After the story’s storyline you’ll be inside the quarters of the Templar. You should visit Marcello at his office close by for further instructions (his guards will be moving whenever you talk about them). Return to the main entrance of the abbey and Angelo will be joining your group in the end! He is a master of Swords and Charisma, although you can also get effective spells using his Staves too.
(Note it is important to note that even if you have completed Ascantha prior to this, you’ll get an episode that includes Trode when you leave.)

The first cow is also there; the cows around the globe offer an unrestricted Fresh Milk every day when you speak to them. There’s a chest that is locked with an amount of 230G located just north-northwest of the two buildings. We’ll talk about both buildings.

Things: Mini Medal #10, Silk Robe Seed of Magic

You are able to stay at the chapel for free So you might consider doing so. You get an additional story scene in the event that you do this, which is very nice. It’s possible to find Mini Medal #10 within the house inside a barrel and also a silk Robe inside the cabinet. There’s also a Seed of Magic inside the cabinet of the church. In addition there’s nothing other to do in these two places… at present.
Returning to the road along the west bank of the river go towards the south, and you will find an old chest that has an seed of Life in it. You can traverse the river. Along the road you will find a blue treasure chest and to the south of the road, at the bend leading into the castle in Ascantha There is yet another chest of blue. Keep heading east from there and you’ll come across an unlocked chest that has an Seed of Defence inside. Go toward Ascantha however, veer off towards the east of the castle and you’ll find an unlocked chest that has the number 154G inside. Then you are able to go into Ascantha in its entirety.

It is possible to take it to a gentleman in Farebury’s Inn in the evening for the Seed of Wisdom however, just for a few minutes Take your time when you’re contemplating it! The closest house to the well contains Rennet Powder along with Mini Medal #11 inside it. The church contains a number of recipes for alchemy in it However, as I said it isn’t necessary to create what those recipes were designed for and therefore, feel free to take them off the list. Another house close to the church is home to basic Clothes in an unfinished cabinet. The only thing that the inn contains is the Golden Slime to photograph. It’s time to go through the castle. Enter through the leftmost entrance and pick up mini Medal #12 from the cabinet nearby along with 42G from the cabinet that is next to it. Go upstairs now (using the internal stairs; the external ones give you the photo opportunity) and look around the floor for the red Mould in barrels as well as a medicinal Herb in the form of a pot. Take the stairs to the next floor and search the minister’s quarters to find mini Medal #13 inside his cabinet (and an emerald Slime on the shelves). There’s nothing to search for, but the last photo opportunity in this town is located in the sky. To move the plot forward all you need do is talk to the king in the evening (he’s in the throne’s room crying) and then go down. When Emma speaks to you, head back and return towards your Riverside Chapel and talk to the elderly lady who lives who lives next to the chapel. She’ll guide you down the right track. All you need do from there is go to the beach that is nearby and then walk straight up to Wisher’s Peak.

Things: Wizard’s Staff, 500G, The Templar’s Shield
Monsters: Walking Corpse, Mummy Boy, Fat Bat, Hell Hornet, Treeface, Bodkin Archer, Diemon
The cave is quite simple. Enter the cave system and continue straight until you find an Wizard’s Staff. Find the right fork this time , and proceed to the top of the stairs. There’s nothing left at the end of the lower trail which is why you must take the narrow path instead. The cave in the vicinity contains 500G inside, as well as an alternative is further higher up the hill. From there, you can cross the bridge and continue upthe hill, following a path towards a the Templar’s Shield before continuing along the main road to the summit. When you reach the top it is a matter of having to sit for a while before the plot will be in. Look at the shadows on the wall when you’re able. This is a bit bizarre! Enter the structure, and speak with the stranger inside. After a short conversation, you can go out of the Moonshadow Realm, and you’ll be taken back to the castle of Ascantha. Take a trip upstairs into the throne’s room for further story. Once that’s finished go back to the map of the world. If you’ve completed this Maella Abbey sequence, a story will unfold and your next location will be determined: Pickham. The entrance for this region is the Pickham region is located directly to the to the south of Ascantha. (Note the fact that, if you did not sign up Angelo prior to this particular sequence, then you’ll need to do so at this moment. The plot will not be continued until you have however, you may be able to go to the Pickham region before this point.)

There’s an inn that’s located near the Pickham region that is quite nice. After you’ve passed the gateway archway, turn away from the path to the east to discover a blue chest hidden in the middle of a building that looks odd. Talk to the man on top of the building, and then leave him and return to him when he is greeting you. This will give you three Morrie’s Memos. If you’re looking to start working with them, Lonely Joe is along the road leading towards The Ruined Abbey, and Squiggles is situated south of the lake that is nearby. The next step is to head towards the west to find a chest that has the sum of 450G inside a small alcove in the edge of an elevated plateau. Go south, then west-to-east through a plateau, and you’ll find another chest that is locked with an leather whip. The next stop: east and to the north, near an unnamed lake (we’ll be there in the near future) and there’s a blue chest. On the northern side of the east-facing swamp in the area of sand, is an unlocked chest with the Farmers Scythe inside. From as far west as you are able to walk through a small canal that looks out to the ocean, is an unlocked chest that has the Iron Shield in it. It’s actually necessary to travel to the south, then loop back along the coast to get there. That will be enough to take into consideration all the treasure scattered throughout the region and you should go towards Pickham located in the northeast region of this region.

It’s a shady town, in case you weren’t aware. If you’re interested in trying your luck at gambling at the Casino the best odds are using the Bingo game. You can make the best alchemical kit when you play (Wizard Staff + Rune Staff for Staff of Antimagic, Iron Shield + Silver Platter for White Shield, and Bandana and Agility Ring to match Mercury’s Bandana). Let’s go on a hunt for the treasure! Start by looking at the structure on the west side of town to find an rabbit Tail as well as Rennet Powder along with 12G. It is possible to ignore the bully asking for payment in order to go down the central avenue. You can get to that area without having to pay him by walking the long way. In the building that is long near the bully’s spot there is the chain Mail inside a cupboard (and it’s the Gold of town Slime placed on a shelf far from that cabinet). Within the complex housing located to the northeast, you’ll find the Seed of Life and Holy Water. Go down the well and smash some pots to get the phial that contains amor seco essence as well as the Mini Medal #14. The bags found in the shop will contain Mini Medal #15. Go to the bar on the northern part of town, and take out the barrels to get fresh milk. Next , go to the inn and walk towards the upstairs room . There is 35G inside a cupboard. Go outside on the roof and find red Mould inside the barrel. This is all there is for this particular area, and it’s time to return to the street. There’s a pot that has the word Cowpat in the central western alley. In the housing unit, not far away, is an old barrel that has miniature Medal #16 as well as an item bag that has an seeds of power inside. The house that is south of the most northeastern house has the Magic Water in the cabinet. The cupboard contains the number 26G inside a bottle that’s located down the eastern side of the alleyway. There’s Waterweed Mould in an unidentified barrel that is located close by. The bar’s tent on its roof is home to a few boxer shorts in bags. Mini Medal #17 is in a pot located at the bottom of the roof’s path. The goal (at at the very least) is located just below the stairs of the roof. Enter the room following the short narrative, and look around the back room for the Seed of Wisdom and 30G. After that, it’s straight back to the pub in the north! After a brief scene there, return to the storeroom in the southeast and meet the thief for a different story. Then, go to the bar on the south side of town, and ask the barkeeper to move to the bar counter. There’s a cabinet that has mini Medal #18 there and also your conversation subject, Dodgy Dave. Contact Dodgy Dave to make things move again. You must now take the horse to Red’s home near the middle of the lake, southwest of town.
Place: Red’s Place
Items: Mini Medal #19, Mini Medal #20, Hairband
Look around the shed to find Mini Medal #19 inside the barrel. Speak to the guard at the door to enter. There’s a bowl nearby that has Mini Medal #20 inside. There’s an hairband inside the cabinet within her bedroom. Red’s golden Slime is right next to a shrub in one corner. Speak to Red right now. This scenario is a little more complicated if you’ve have already gotten the Venus”Tear” out of the Swordsman’s Labyrinth. If so you should try to get out of the house completely before you walk to her and give her the tear. In the event that she doesn’t, she’ll instruct you to go and collect your Venus’ Tear from the Swordsman’s Labyrinth. It’s located just north of her home So, shake a leg.
The location is Swordsman’s Labyrinth.
The items include: Cowpat, 1000G, 11G Mini Medal #21, Red Mould, 62G, Seed of Magic, Antidotal Herb Mini Medal #22, (Cannibox), Kitty Shield Mini Medal #23
Monsters Phantom Fencer, Goodybag, Restless Armour, Lost Soul, Mummy Boy, Mummy, Cannibox
As soon as you step inside the building, you will see an enlightening story featuring Yangus. There’s nothing at the beginning level, so you’ll need to go down and find the doorway. Follow the staircase and smash a few pots to make an Cowpat. The poison swamp is crossed for an item called a chest that costs the amount of 1000G. Remain to the upper level and continue on the route, going to the east, passing through the 4-way intersection. The leftmost door is the room that leads to the room that is packed full of treasures: 11G Mini Medal #21, Red Mould and 62G. Seed of Magic, Antidotal Herb as well as an unlocked chest that has Mini Medal #22 in it. The rightmost entrance contains two boxes, one an Cannibox with another one secured with an Kitty Shield in the. Go back to the intersection with four lanes and walk north. Don’t not unlock the very first “door” in the sense that it will send you into the pit of poison on the floor below, and make you go back. Instead, you should open the door down, and then head for the next level. The northern path is another fake trap door to follow, so continue and move the statue to the side for an even lower level. From here, follow the eastern route to the fork. Break an open pot for Mini Medal #23. Retrace your steps back to the path you took before, and then go the opposite path by pushing the statue on the floor tile in order to move the bridge ahead. Continue along the linear path until you reach the room near the end. In this room, you’ll need to hold L R and R together to switch into free-look mode. Then, look towards the ceiling. Find the hole and then move the statues until they coincide with that hole. Then , stand underneath the hole to be to the top! Take a look at the plaque next to you for a full healing. It’s straight towards your chest, however it’s going to be simple. Quicksave, unlock the chest, and get ready for a fight!

BOSS: The Trap Box (Recommended level 16)
1100 HP. 1020 exp, Gold 990 Drops Venus Tear
Attacks The most common Attack is the regular one (25-30 damage) Critical hit (70-90 damage), Fuddle (confusion on one), Fizzle (block spell casting), Crackle (30-40 damage to all)
Trap Box is not a joke. The man can and will destroy those who are weak to fight him. You must be fortunate in this fight, and avoid being killed by a hapless sequence of turns. In this regard, Acceleratle is a must. Tension is extremely helpful it should become your first action when you’re not healing. If you’re equipped with Multithrust, the hero who wields spears, it can take off an impressive third to fifty percent of Trap Box’s HP with just one 50-Tension strike. The faster you complete this battle and the more you win, the more effective.
Following the battle, assuming you arrived in the manner the game directed you to, there’ll be a brief scene or, if not, the game takes note of an Venus’ Tear. Whatever the case, make your way out and go to Red’s house once more. Speak to her about an adventure story and then leave her home for the chance to see Medea finally. Return to Pickham and go to the area below the stairs on the rooftops , to view Brains finally. Talk to the man to find out what to do next. Before leaving town, you must to visit Dodgy Dave at the pub in the south. He’ll request that you make his special Medicine for 500G. This is quite an offer so take the opportunity to do. Then he’ll request the Reinforced Boomerang for 1200G and you could also consider doing because you’ll need to offer him one at some point. An edged boomerang isn’t much less effective therefore why wouldn’t it be? The next thing he wants (a Ring of Immunity) will take a while before you’re able to make it. Your next stop is located north from Port Prospect!

Go up to the gate, and then check it for a story. When you are able to control yourself and are able to walk up the left side of the staircase and you will find 1500G in an chest. You can enter the castle directly from here. I recommend that you enter on the left-hand side first. I’ve found personally that the area of the shop here is an easy location to cause Liquid Metal Slimes to spawn simply by being in the left-hand corner of the room and adjusting the camera from the upper-left corner. It is possible to get an absurd level with using this feature. However, you must go through the south-facing doors to find a chest that has the coveted Magic Key, a locked chest that contains the The Templar’s Sword as well as a few containers, barrels, and bags that have Magic Beast Hide, Mini Medal #25 along with a Gold Bracer inside the bags. There’s nothing left towards the east, which is why you should go back to the central hallway and use the west door instead. Take the hallway to the south before turning around and go through the door that lead to south (there’s no interesting things to see in the room in North). Go down the stairs then smash several of the pots to obtain an amount of 46G. There’s nothing in the south hallway and you should instead take the narrow staircase then smash up a barrel to get Mini Medal #26. The area is finished which is why you should go back up and proceed toward the central lobby once more. However, this time go to the northeast corner of the lobby and proceed up the steps (again there is nothing within the adjacent room). The floor is full of interesting things to see. If you’re interested to visit the sceptre room, climb to the top of the stairs on the southern end to visit the sceptre’s room, and then watch a short story-telling scene. In the southwest area, look over the piano for a different story. The room to the north is home to an Garter inside an cabinet. It’s not in the adjoining rooms to east and you should head to the northeast area. In one of the cabinets there is Mini Medal #27. The next stop is the northwest room. Inside, there are barrels that are broken to get the sum of 29G. Take the balcony out, and then go up the spiral staircase. Take it down to the second floor. Go into the room next to discover Rock Salt in the pot. You can’t move further into the room from here however. Enter the room with the throne (in the middle) and look for the minister who sits on the throne for a hilarious small story. The room to the northwestern is home to pots that have waterweed mould in them, as well as several barrels that have 150G and Mini Medal #28. Enter through the southernmost door to locate the library! There’s plenty of alchemy recipes in this area as well as an unlockable door that leads to the courtyard and a story line when you enter into the room’s main. The bookcase you’re looking to find is located in the southwest corner. Make sure to check it out to get the story moving. Start your Moonshadow window and then go to the bookshop with Ishmari. After you’ve completed that the next stop is Ascantha Talk to the king, and then go through the tunnel and into a different region on the map of the globe.
Place: Land of the Moles
Items like Seed of Life Mini Medal #29
Monsters Hawk Man, Mad Mole, Mars Rover, Chimaera
The way to get to the Mole Hole is pretty simple, but first, go to the locked chest within the area to find an Seed of Life. In close proximity to the Mole Hole located in the northern area there is a locked chest that has Mini Medal #29 inside. Then , it’s down to the Mole Hole!
The location: Mole Hole
Items: 1500G Mini Medal #30, Seed of Defence Stone Hardhat
Monsters: Mischievous Mole, Mad Mole, Mars Rover, Rockbomb, Peepers, Muddy Hand
Then, you can proceed to the southern fork and then check the west-facing corner of the area to find 1500G. You can then go down to level 2. On the other side of the room with a rough shape on this level, you’ll find two pots, which contain mini Medal #30 as well as the The Seed of Defence. There’s a chest that’s locked located in the southernmost area of this level, with the Stone Hardhat in it. This is all there is for treasures and so head towards Don Mole on level 3 (he’s located in the corner to the east) then Quicksave and converse with Don Mole to fight him (pick Yes for a funny small scene if you’d like but you’ll need to choose No to initiate fighting).

1280 HP, 1160 experience, 540 gold, drops Elfin Elixir
Attacks Perform (confusion with all enemies and all allies) Normal Attack (35-50 damage) Ground Pound (45-60 damage to all allies)
Don Mole opens with his performancethat will be confusing for nearly all Soul Mole and perhaps certain members of your group If you’re not lucky. You’ll need to get clear of any unconfused Soul Moles as fast as possible, since they love to increase Tension and strike the target extra hard. Apart from that the game is a normal boss battle The basic strategy is to psyche up, Acceleratle, heal as required, pay attention to the boss’s face and generally do the job in the shortest time possible. Although Don Mole does eventually summon substitute Soul Mole minions however, he does infrequently that it’s unlikely to encounter any problems.
In the aftermath of the struggle, you’ll be able to get your Moonshadow Harp! You can now Evac out. After that we can go on a treasure hunting, shall we? Ishmari will be waiting and there’s plenty of treasure to be discovered!
