Everquest Kunark Leveling Guide 1 – 15
kunark leveling guide being in the noobs’ zone is typically the best way to go for these initial levels. I’m not going deep here since most people are already familiar with these levels.
Kunark Leveling Guide 15-25 (Ocean of Tears Undead Isle)
It’s one of my top places to visit because it’s a great place to play. Undead here is excellent for any player. For those who are boxers, you are surrounded by Undead, and they’re simple to pull. One-on-one players can scurry around the island’s edges and in the rot of Undead. Gargoyles also are born here that drop Gargoyle Eyes which can be sold to vendors for between 8 and 10pp each!
A thing to be aware of about this area is that gargoyles and skeletons will fight one another. If there is no one in the room when you first arrive, there’s a good chance you won’t find any gargoyles around for this reason. Once you have cleared the skeletons, gargoyles begin to reproduce. Be aware that Skeletons are very social with one another. If you put them too close, they’ll attack you quickly!
Here are a few other suggested locations for this area if you aren’t a fan of this level range. OoT Undead!
Upper Guk (Dungeon Crawl) Group/Boxer Extremely Social Social UGuk can be considered one of the most popular dungeons available to players in this level range. Like Unrest, it’s likely to be filled with groups as long as Classic is the latest expansion.
Undead from OoT (Field killing) Social Boxer/Boxer – Amazing XP, very poor cash flow
East Karana (Field Killing) Boxer/Solo semi-social One of the most popular plats during this stage range. However, you’ll have to sell the items you come across.
Lavastorm (Field Killing) Boxer/Group semi-social Very high risk but very rewarding. Imps can be randomly killed, mobs are very social, and the respawn times within this zone are insane.
South Karana (Field Killing) Boxer/solo player Antisocial This is the Aviaks located in the southern region of South Karana by the Lake Rathe online can be an ideal kiting spot for those seeking to keep away from other players.
Warsliks Woods (Field Killing) Boxer/Single/Group antisocial A vast area that offers many opportunities.
Lake of Ill Omen (Field Killing) Solo/Boxer Large area is fairly widespread based on your location. It’s simple to kite here, and solo singles are looking for a great spot. It is also possible to bind here for those wanting to escape!
Unrest (Dungeon Crawl) Group/Boxer extremely social, an excellent zone for the group. There will be plenty of groups on this server if it only has Classic EQ with no further X-pacs. This is the best spot if you’re an LFG and are on Faydwer following Crushbone.

Kunark Leveling Guide 25 – 35
In the latter 20s, I suggest Crypt of Dalnir or City of Mist If you’re an LFG. If you’re looking to go solo during LFG, The Overthere is the perfect spot to do it. If you want to stay away from crowds, keep to the classics during this phase. Castle Mistmoore and Runnyeye are two places you can go to for a quieter experience and avoid crowds.
Crypt Dalnir (Dungeon Crawl) Zone is antisocial. The zone is home to an incredible ZEM (Zone Experience Modifier), which gives more than the average XP per kill, making it an excellent place to start your level. The mobs are in the lower 30s and get more difficult as you progress. Bring a group or bring your boxes since the zone is not often accessed. Do not expect to find an entire group in this area.
Lake of Ill Omen (Soloers/Boxers/Groups/Kiters) – You have tons of room to kite + actual camps here. You can also improve Your Howling Stones key via Jade Chokadai Prod.
Upper Guk (Dungeon Crawl) moderately antisocial/boxer, Great for groups of boxers or solo players. I would advise you to find a more suitable location!
Castle Mistmoore (Dungeon Crawl) group/antisocial/boxer – This location is a nice dungeon crawl in this level range. Be cautious when you go past the graveyard without the group PL assistance. It’s easy to get messy beyond the GY when mobs suddenly rise in levels.
The Overthere (SF Ramp) Boxers/Groups/Kiters On the south end of The Overthere, there’s a pretty well-known ramp for its grouping. There are plenty of mobs you can pull, and it’s pretty secure to hunt here, except for the night, when guards from the outpost patrol around and shoot anyone who isn’t their favorite. The Loot here isn’t the most desirable, but the XP isn’t terrible until you get to the lower 30s.
Dreadlands (Field Killing) Boxers/Groups/Kiters/Solo antisocial zone – My favorite location to kill in Dreadlands is just to the east of Karnor’s Castle. The main area I draw from is the online and massive castle and the field between the zone line Firiona Vie and Karnor’s Castle. There’s a significant distinction in the levels of the creatures in the area I believe it’s around 10 levels, but it’s straightforward and has good XP throughout this range of levels. There is always the option of pulling singles and pushing them back so that nothing can bother you when fighting. There’s plenty of space to kite.
Runnyeye (Dungeon Crawl) Boxers/Groups social zone This place is ideal for people wanting to remain in peace for the duration of Kunark. Runnyeye is an issue due to mobs that wander around and the mix of levels when you’re not prepared, which is why it’s often avoided. If you can conquer this obstacle, the zone will likely be yours!
Frontier Mountains (Field Killing) Soloers/Groups moderately social zone One of the numerous zones added in Kunark’s expansion. Kunark extension, the area provides many different camps.

Kunark Leveling Guide 35 – 45
These are the best levels to play during Kunark because all fun zones become accessible! Ocean of Tears is great for those who want to be a bit secluded, and lower Guk is excellent for being a boxer, Dreadlands for a Kiter, Karnors, CoM, CT, Luk, and tons of more dungeons for a group… It was not easy to find before, but things are now appearing.
Temple of Droga (Dungeon Crawl) Boxer/Group This is a challenging Kunark dungeon located near the Frontier Mountains. The jail is full of Kunark Goblins who run when they are low in health and heal their companions through walls. There’s also some critical loot that you can collect from the hunt here.
Cazic Thule (Dungeon Crawl/Camp) Boxers/Groups Boxers – Dark Forge Armor quests can be completed here. Lizard Scale Cloak – Lizard Scale Mantle – are a few good drops.
City of Mist (Dungeon Crawl) Boxers/Groups social zone This zone is absolutely amazing for this level of play, for groupers and boxers alike. The area is quite large and has many options to play around with. There’s plenty of good Loot to be found here, such as Ornate Rune Shield or slimy Green Ring.
Crypt Dalnir (Dungeon Crawl) Zone that is antisocial. The zone is home to an incredible ZEM (Zone Experience Modifier), which means it will give more than the average amount of XP per kill, which makes it a great place to get leveled. The mobs are in in the lower 30s get more difficult as you progress. Bring a group or bring your boxes since this area is rarely visited. Do not expect to find an entire group in this area.
Lower Guk (Dungeon Crawl/Camp) Boxers/Groups antisocial zone It’s the ideal time to take classes like Mithril Run Tunic, Shining Metallic Robes, Flowing Black Silk Sash, and more!
The Overthere (SF Ramp) Boxers/Groups/Kiters On the south-facing side of The Overthere, there’s a ramp that’s pretty well-known for gathering. There are a lot of mobs to fight, and it’s relatively safe to hunt here, unless at the dark hours when the guards of the outpost are patrolling around and shooting anyone who isn’t their favorite. The Loot here isn’t the most desirable, but the XP isn’t too bad until you’re in your 30s or lower.
Ocean of Tears (Cyclops) – Groups/Boxers/Solo It’s one of my favorite locations for 35 to 42(45). Cyclops here are easy to play. They do not hit any hard and can also drop lucrative Loot. It’s rare for a cyclops from the past to be born in the same place as any other cyclops in the island who drop Ring of the Ancients. The ring can be found for the Jboots Quest.
Karnor’s Castle (Dungeon Crawl) Boxers/Groups hostile zone This area can be a nightmare if you intend to travel towards a site for a camp. For a dungeon crawl, it’s pretty standard of the kind of zone. The ZEM is decent, and the mobs can be pretty soft. They can also drop raw plat, which helps to make more up for the absence of trash from vendors. Monks can do the Karnor’s Pipe to make it epic, and casters can harvest endlessly with an extended range of three concentrate off of an adjacent mob.
Dreadlands – (Mostly field killing) Boxers/Groups/Kiters/Solo, antisocial zone – My favorite location to kill in Dreadlands is just to the east of Karnor’s Castle. The zone line, as well as the massive castle and the field between the zone line Firiona Vie and Karnor’s Castle, is where I primarily draw from. There’s an enormous distinction in the levels of the creatures in the area. I’m thinking of something similar to 10 stories. However, it’s straightforward and offers good XP in this range of levels. It is possible to pull singles and then push them back so that nothing can bother you when fighting. There’s plenty of space to kite.
Castle Mistmoore (Dungeon Crawl) group/antisocial/boxer – This location is an excellent dungeon crawl in this level range. Be cautious when you go past the graveyard without the group PL assistance. It’s possible to get messy beyond the GY because mobs abruptly increase in level. If you’re in the 40s and reading this, you’re likely to be on the high end and shouldn’t be coming here. If you’re in the low 30s, you will likely be able to power through this section if you’re not under-geared.
Old Sebilis (Dungeon Crawl) Social/Boxers, social non-social zone This is one of the top XP you can earn from the game. Kunark the Juggs will also make you a lot of money. I highly recommend this zone for boxers between 6 and 12 as a dungeon-crawl experience.
The entire right wing (where Disco 1 + 2 is) is ideal for groups of lower levels in this area. The left wing is roughly identical to the disco area in Loot and XP. The center part (Crypt) is usually camp-based and does not offer the most excellent XP. It’s named chiefly. It is also necessary to have a Bard or Rogue select the door of the Crypt. The Loot you’ll find interesting that comes in The Old Seb includes… The Box of Zero Space, Cone of the Mystics Froglok’s Bonecaster’s Robe Obulus Death Shroud, Hierophant’s Cloak, and the Runebranded Girdle.
The “underneath” part of the old web Juggs, myoclonus, and Juggs there’s where the fun/money is at. If you’re older than 55, you must go to this area and camp in the “King” and the protector tolpumaj
Kunark Leveling Guide 45 – 60
The final stretch! There’s a lot to do in group-related content that I will leave out from this little tidbit. If you’re a single player, OoT Cyclops remains an excellent place to play! Skyfire kiting isn’t too bad; however, you must be careful to avoid Calendar, which can be irritating. The entry point of Old Sebilis isn’t too bad for certain classes. Root rot can be caused by Frogs pretty quickly during LFG.
Old Sebilis (Dungeon Crawl) Boxers/Groups, social zones that are antisocial This is one of the top XP you can earn from the game. Kunark Juggs. They also bring you wealth. For those between 6-12 boxers, I highly recommend this area for a dungeon crawl adventure.
The entire right wing (where Disco 1 + 2 is) is ideal for this area’s boxers and groups at lower levels. The left wing is roughly similar to the disco zone in terms of Loot and XP. The middle site (Crypt) is usually camp-based and does not offer the most excellent XP. It’s named chiefly. You’ll also require a Bard or Rogue to select the door of the Crypt. The Loot you’ll want to know about that comes at The Old Seb can be… the Box of Zero Space, Cone of the Mystics Froglok’s Bonecaster’s Robe Obulus Death Shroud, Hierophant’s Cloak, and Runebranded Girdle.
The “underneath” portion of the old seb Myoconids, Juggs, and myoclonus there’s where the fun/money is at. If you’re older than 55, you must go to this area and camp out the “King” as well as the protectortolpumaj tolpumaj
Chardok (Dungeon Crawl) Boxers/Groups, Antisocial zone It is a dungeon crawl-type zone geared towards boxers or groups. This is a huge zone with many names and Loot available for you to acquire. The further you progress into the area in either direction, the more difficult it will be. The entrance zone at 60 will appear Light blue, but most of the hard-named zones that drop the most valuable Loot will remain Dark Blue. I’m going to separate the loot lists for Chardok into two parts, one for smaller groups of boxers and one for larger groups of fighters.
Good Loot from The Light Blue section of Chardok: Fancy Velvet Mantle, Girdle of Flayed Iksar Shroud of Undeath, Shai’din Revenant Bauble, The Crypt Masters conjuring Stone, Earring of Twisted Leaves, and more.
Good Loot from the Harder section of Chardok Vibrating Gauntlets Infuse Incarnadine Breastplate, Incarnadine Greaves, Pearly Sarnak Bauble, Writing of Di’zok.
Burning Woods – Boxers/Groups/Kiters/Solo, social zone – great and wide open for kiters; not only that, but this zone is a hotspot for people 50 – 54. If you fall within this category and are in are you … this is two negatives … cannot locate groups!
Ocean of Tears (Elite Goblin Isle) Boxers/Groups, a secluded zone This area is so private when Kunark launches Kunark that it’s possibly one of the best places to be completely alone. The Loot here is a total blow, but you can only expect exp.
Skyfire Mountains (Solo Dragons) Boxers/Kiters, a social zone ideal for kiters. The dragons have the potential that they will drop Kunark’s spells, which are likely to prove highly beneficial.
The Hole (Dungeon Crawl) – Boxers/Groups antisocial zone. Few people go here in Konark small-sized boxers can take on Idols of the Underking and loam rock golems and elementals, but it’ll take longer to deal with Undead that can drop after having a stale.
Howling Stones (Dungeon Crawl) – Boxers/Groups and antisocial zones. There aren’t any set locations to spawn in this zone. The spawning locations can vary across the wings. Additionally, to rectify some mistakes made on the internet. The most common items across the zone are the Enshrouded Veil, Golden Bracer, Stein of Tears, and Melodious Truncheon. They don’t drop out of named entities or from any particular wings. I’m sure about this. However, the Truncheon is far more prevalent on golems than the other mob I have seen.
