If you work at a desk job, chances are you’ve already got a laptop sitting next to you. Most laptops include a web cam built in, allowing you to easily connect via Skype, Google Hangouts, Face Time, etc., no matter where you happen to be. While many monitors do now feature a built-in webcam, they usually aren’t HD enough to replace a dedicated webcam, unless you plan on using them exclusively for video conferencing purposes. That said, there are plenty of desktop monitors available today that offer both high definition cameras and USB ports. These allow you to quickly plug in a separate webcam to supplement your existing laptop webcam whenever necessary.
Here, we’ve selected the best monitors with webcams based on our reviewers’ experience, on customer reviews and on the stated specifications and features of each screen. We chose a range of models, including some that provide decent color accuracy and brightness levels for both creative and office tasks. Webcam displays are still largely 1080p panels, though there are now some 1440p options available too. For high res, we recommend Dell’s U3223QZ 4k video conference panel, which has been ranked second here. Also check out the Apple Studio Display.
If you’re looking for a way to expand your office workspace, look no further than these 10 innovative solutions. From smart wall mounts to floating desks, here are the top options for improving productivity at work.

We’re listing the top 10 budget gaming laptops here, but before we dive into those picks, let us explain exactly what we mean by ‘budget.’ For starters, we don’t include anything priced over $1,200 USD. That means no Alienware 15 R3, Dell G7, HP Omen X Empyrean, Lenovo Legion Y740, Razer Blade Pro, nor any desktop replacement laptops like the Asus TUF Gaming FX504GM. We do, however, include plenty of affordable notebooks that cost around $700-$900, though they won’t necessarily play games well unless you upgrade components like memory and storage. So, instead of just looking at price point alone, we’ve taken a look at each laptop’s performance relative to its spec sheet and features compared to similar models.
We tested the display using a MacBook Pro running macOS High Sierra 10.13.6. We used iMovie 2018 to edit video files, Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 to work with photos, and Microsoft Office 2016 Home & Student Edition to open Word documents. For web browsing, we used Chrome 73.0.3683.100 64-bit.

The Asus VG278Q has a large screen – 27 inches – and a high resolution of Full HD 1920 x 1200 pixels. Its web camera supports both video calls and Skype chats, enabling users to enjoy clear images during video conferences. On the downside, there aren’t many ports available; just 2 USB slots and HDMI port. Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny-in-one 24-Gen3 Monitor Review
Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny-in-one 24 Gen3 is a desktop PC featuring a 23.8″ Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution and LED Backlight. It includes integrated Intel® Core™ i7 processor with 8GB DDR4 memory and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card. Other features include 2x USB Type C ports, HDMI port, Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, SD Card reader, headphone jack, microphone input, 720p camera, fingerprint scanner, speaker, power button, volume control buttons, and Windows Hello support. It weighs 5 lbs 4 oz and measures 15.5 inches wide, 13.9 inches deep, and 6.6 inches high. It supports both Microsoft Windows 7/10 operating system.
The big problem is that it was built with a Lenovo ThinkCentre in mind, and probably looks best with one of those tiny desktops behind it. It’ll also work with any system that has a Display Port connection, but there’s no HDMI or VGA ports. So while that should be fine for most people, if you plan on using it for after hours gaming then forget about it — that glacially slow response time will ruin everything for you.
