The Stowaway Side Quest – The Ebon Hawk (Kotor 1)

The Stowaway quest starts when you arrive on the first planet you’ve visited after leaving Dantooine. Zaalbar will come to you and inform you that food items are missing from the ship, and you’ll get a Journal upgrade (and that quest) because of it. You’ll need to look over the food items in the Cargo Hold and then move around various areas of your ship until Sasha, the child, appears inside the Cargo Hold.

The first time you attempt to communicate with Sasha is a failure since Sasha doesn’t speak any of the languages you know. Continue to play around with dialog options with her until you can select (try to learn Sasha’s snarky language to learn Sasha’s language] as an alternative. Explore the dialog choices available to you, and you’ll learn a few phrases from Sasha and get 60 EXP.

If you’ve had a conversation with Lur Arka Sulas at the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine (pictured below), Then you’ll have the option to talk with her, “Does the name Lur Arka ring a bell? What about Rundil ot Sulem?” Sasha does not recognize any of these names. However, they’ll tell you where to go to Sasha.

The next step in this journey (if you’re looking to earn light Side Points) is to keep talking to Sasha repeatedly and playing around with what words mean. Sasha often gestures at your face, and you’ll need to figure out what she is saying. It would be best to have enough words “correct” before you can [Speak with her in her language to choose a dialogue option. This is a requirement since Lur Arka Sulas will not join your ship until you’re sure she is the person he’s looking for.

Dark Side / Light Side The difference is:

 Instead of communicating with Sasha and learning her native language, take her off Dantooine’s ship and then talk to Lur Arka Sulas. The quest will be completed, and you’ll get Dark Side Points.

NOTE: If you ignore Sasha and take her off the ship, she’ll vanish after you’ve found around 4 or 5 Star Maps. Zaalbar will notify you that Sasha has gone missing when this happens.
